Don’t miss out! 3 Grant + Award Opportunities Nominations and applications are due soon for Portland Parks Foundation’s three current grants and award opportunities—one new—designed for community volunteers and organizational leaders working to better Portland’s parks and open spaces. The new Joey Pope Award for Parks Leadership will honor and provide a $10,000 grant to uplift and advance an emerging leader, organization, or initiative that promotes innovation and accessibility in Portland’s parks and open space system. U.S. Bank Parks Champion Awards honors volunteers who make outstanding contributions of time and energy to a Portland park, community center, natural area, community garden, or park-related or recreation program. PPF’s Small Grants provide financial assistance to organizations or projects that better connect low-income populations, communities of color, and other historically marginalized groups to parks and natural spaces.
