Register to share your abundance of backyard produce at the next city-wide PDX Yard Share event August 17 to reduce food waste by creating a marketplace of free, backyard homegrown produce distributed and gathered by neighbors!
How it works: people with homegrown produce (fruits, vegetables, flowers, and eggs) will register to give on the website. The evening before the event, their location will appear on an interactive community map. On the day of the event, givers will place their produce in front of their house in a box or on a table (optional: buy a sign on the website to signify your produce pickup location).
Anyone can use the interactive community map to find and gather produce.
